From Bernie's first job in a motorcycle store as a teenager in 1967 to his foray into his own business as Townsville's Honda Motorcycle Dealer in 1975, Bernie's passion for motorcycles grew even stronger, which in turn necessitated the move to even larger premises enabling Bernie to expand the Honda dealership into one of the North's best.

As we progress deeper into this new millennium Rising Sun Honda boasts one of the largest motorcycle showrooms in the North.

Rising Sun Honda carries an extensive range of stock with more recent additions being lawn mowers, pumps, generators and spare parts. The complex also boasts first class service and repair facilities.

Today it is evident that Rising Sun Honda's success is commensurate with Bernie Koppe's passion for motorcycle sports and reflected in his own personal success in the racing.
